These are all awesome movies but hands down, my favorite holiday movie is The Holiday! I used to fall asleep to it in college so I have seen the first 35 minutes of it probably about 100 times and the movie in its entirety, a good 20. And as I try to trick my mind in to shutting off so I can fall asleep before sunrise, I will watch it again tonight for the 400th time. I am hoping I will have dreams of meeting Jude Law during a house swap in a quaint, little British town. Good night,
My Favorite Quote from The Holiday: I've found almost everything ever written about love to be true. Shakespeare said "Journeys end in lovers meeting." What an extraordinary thought. Personally, I have not experienced anything remotely close to that, but I am more than willing to believe Shakespeare had. I suppose I think about love more than anyone really should. I am constantly amazed by its sheer power to alter and define our lives. It was Shakespeare who also said "love is blind". Now that is something I know to be true.

I couldn't agree more! I am about half way thought watching it again (for the 5th or 6th time) It's sheer perfection and so are Kate and Jude.
